Many recipes here have a healthy(ish) twist- whether that be less sugar, sweetened naturally, upping the protein, or sneaking in nutrient-dense ingredients. But most importantly, I focus on baking from scratch with quality ingredients. And EVERY recipe is finger-licking-worthy by our family of 8!

As a Mom of 6, I know how quickly time flies by, which is why I strive to make every meal, snack and treat memorable, extra enjoyable, and often times with a healthy(ish) twist! (Because who wouldn’t want breakfast brownies that not only taste fantastic but make you feel good too?! Or overnight oats that taste like a cinnamon roll- yes, please!)

So many of my happiest and most memorable moments growing up have been shaped by delicious food. From shaping pierogi dough as a child with my Polish immigrant grandma, swooning over a giant bowl of pasta made by my uncle by way of his family heirloom Italian recipes, or visiting our relatives in Normandy, France and holding that fresh baguette like there was no bread that could ever compare!
Now, 6 kids of my own later, I strive to make nostalgic memories created by delicious food for my own family. We’re constantly baking, and there are little ones always trying to sneak a peak in the Kitchenaid mixer or lick a spatula.
A Pretty Plate is more than just recipes – it’s a gathering place for anyone who wants to make their everyday plate a little more special. Good food should make you smile. And I’m here to invite you to the table. There’s always an open seat!
